What this really is is a way to try to demonize another American citizen by their own virtue and vice and thus deny them benefits. In fact if there is some wasted spending of their benefit, it is not on us to decide how to FORCE them to live their lives. Americans are given the right to property and the right to pursue their own measures to find happiness in order to be a fruitful people.
We do not discriminate against the addiction and we do not discriminate against the passion.
What they get they get and what they do they do.
I disagree! If drugs were legal then yes, anyone would have the right to buy them. Since this is an illegal act, you do not have the right to use government funded services to acquire drugs. Again, we do have the right to discriminate against illegal actions, whatever they may be.
ReplyDeleteWell, drugs are a separate issue and that is why we have law enforcement. The other issues are legal.
