I must say I am not into the space race craze myself.
We went to the moon and have spend 5 decades almost in Space today.
Its certainly a matter of national impressions and pride so lets keep it working all right;
But the fact is, the minute you leave the atmosphere of Earth, you have essentially left the Human Race.
As an orthodox chassidic jew today, I must say that I am concerned with the ramifications on the human experience on leaving humanity to go to a new star or a new way of life in the world outside of terra firma.
Life is good and Life is here for us to enjoy.
If we leave Earth and go somewhere, will life follow too?
That is the existential question.
I think that if you want to get LIFE on your side and you go into space, you might want to improve the life of the planet below with your docier of justice and half wealth experiences in Space.
Give part of your salary to a place in Germany where the Rocket was invented and discovered and thus I think that the future will be yours all over the world.
Else I think you might just be playing with a cannon of tea steam that is just about as good to come home to as a good earthquake might be when you live on the Moon.
