This was an article on Vos Iz Neias speaking of how Mr. West was amiably for the idea that Israel need not apologize for the experience with the Turkish Flotilla that was sent to the Gaza territory some time ago. This is noteworthy because some time about a week ago, it was noted that Mr. Obama felt that Israel owed Turkey an apology for those events. Though I do not recall the exact details of this event, I believe that there were some 6 maybe persons on the flotilla that were killed by the Israeli Navy and I do believe that they had brandished arms and attacked the Israeli Navy. Though I can not say that I am going to take a side on this topic today and clearly I see no reason why Israel should kow tow to the Turkish Government, the fact that Mr. Obama says that an apology is due makes me think twice about this situation and makes me wonder if there was some exaggerated Israeli response that was outside of the conduct required to deviate this flotilla from its course and prevent it from landing on Gaza.
But that aside, it is clear from this article that Mr. West was making a political move so that obviously to counter Mr. Obama or the Obama Administrations ideas, Mr. West wants to distinguish himself.
Mr. West recently made some arrogant statements regarding Ms. Wasserman-Schultz.
So to this, I wrote the following on this article:
West did not "tell her off" like a man of class and esteem. He denigrated her character and libelized her femininity. That is not what I look for in my leaders. So while it may seem that he is on the side of the Jewish people to the unabridged and wanton person, he may not be on the side of liberty and justice. Just a thought today. I am yet to decide if I feel he is a strong leader in spite of his candid unscrupulous "telling off" of the liberal leaders of today. Lets see where this guy goes.
(a previous commenter had remarked about how he liked West due to the fact that he "told off" Ms. Wasserman-Schultz).
To those who don't get my language, I reiterated my message with the following information:
Unabridged refers to someone who does not yet have his shortcomings removed by Torah Study completely. Wanton refers to someone who wants more than they deserve.
Thought I would share this one here.
